Clean Sarnia is a free service being built for Sarnia-Lambton. Here is what happens to the details you give us.
What we collect, and why
The form asks for your email, your town, the service you want and your timing. Those four answers are the point: they tell us which town to open in next, and what people actually want. The phone and notes fields are optional.
Who sees it
- Web3Forms receives your submission and emails it to us. They process it for that purpose and nothing else.
- Cloudflare hosts this site and provides our analytics, which are cookieless: no tracking cookies, no advertising profiles, nothing that follows you to other sites.
We never sell or rent your details, and we do not pass them to cleaning companies. When matching opens, you choose who to contact.
How to withdraw
Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe, acted on within 10 business days and usually the same day. That unsubscribe stays working for at least 60 days after the email it came with. You can also email betterthenu231@gmail.com to be removed.
How long we keep it
We delete your details within 30 days of you leaving the list. One record survives: that you agreed, the wording you agreed to, the date and the page. We keep that record for three years, the window in which a claim under Canadian anti-spam law can be brought, and no longer.
Seeing and correcting what we hold
You can ask us what we hold about you, and ask us to correct anything wrong. Email betterthenu231@gmail.com and we will answer within 30 days.
If something goes wrong
If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we report it to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and tell you directly. We record every breach, including ones below that bar, and keep those records for 24 months.
If you want to complain
Tell us first. If that does not settle it, complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca.
Changes
If we change how we handle your details, we update this page. We will not widen what we do with details you have already given us without asking you first.
